Product testing cat beds

Have you ever given much thought as to how much testing goes into the products you use every day? I certainly hadn’t until I began making things. Now I understand the importance of checking that everything I make is just as functional as it is nice to look at. And when it comes to cat beds, the only way to know if one works or not is if a cat will sleep in it.

Here at the Siamese Social Club headquarters, we have two expert feline product testers, Bollini and Roxie. Together, they have over 140,000 hours in napping experience, so they are clearly ones to be trusted. I asked Bollini if he wouldn't mind demonstrating his methods for cat bed testing, so here he is showing us his techniques.

Bollini begins with an impromotu test. He doesn’t even wait for the bed to be placed on the floor, as he believes a good cat bed should be suitable to sleep in anywhere.
